Vanessa Leggett

My name is Vanessa Leggett, I am a third generation professional Rodeo athlete and barrel racer. I also train horses and work as a registered nurse in Kamloops BC. A few of my highlighted career moments have been winning the National HS Rodeo barrel racing Championship, qualifying for the Calgary Stampede in 2021, and most recently winning the Teepee Creek Stampede Pro Rodeo. Competing at this highest level, my horses have to feel exceptional, so I use Special FX products to help us achieve that goal! A few of my personal favorites are the Draw It Out line, Animal Element and Zesterra. Courtney is a tough competitor who has trialed these products and knows what works! Special FX Equine has a little bit of everything you'll need for success and I'm thrilled to be representing them this year! 

Allissa Tubbs

I am Allissa Tubbs, trainer/colt starter at Jokers Wild Training. I am 25 years old and have been involved with horses since before I could walk. My family has a long history at the racetrack and I started riding in the local pony club and hunter circuit. I discovered a love of rodeo when I was 12 and never looked back.  Pole bending is my specialty and Courtney at Special FX keeps my horses in top shape! She is extremely knowledgeable about the products she offers and her therapeutic equine services are second to none, keeping my horses fit, healthy and ready to run all season. I recommend her to any of my training clients without hesitation! I personally use Animal Element and Zesterra in my barn regularly and always discuss any new supplement needs with Courtney!

Shae-Lynn Ringrose

My name is Shae-Lynn Ringrose I am 24 years old. I am an early childhood education assistant. I’ve been barrel racing now for 10 years. I am so honored to be on team special FX not only they have everything you’ll need! But the knowledge that Courtney has for all the products is amazing, I go to Courtney for everything I need or help with what product I need.

Kyla Krisa

My name is Kyla Krisa and my family and I currently live near Kamloops BC with our small herd of mares.

I am a momma, a business owner and a competitive barrel racer throughout BC and Alberta. I am fortunate to have incredible
companies behind me supporting this deep seeded passion, and this year I am thrilled to add Special FX Equine Performance Products. I truly believe in order to succeed you need a positive outlook and to truly love what you are doing in life. Equine health and wellness is important for our athletes, and with Courtney and her company by my side that just got a whole lot easier.

Court carries some of the best products and therapy tools in the business and I can’t wait to help represent her and Special FX. 

Dalyce Temple

My name is Dalyce temple, I’m 29
years old from Surrey, BC. I’m a full time welding foreman at Vancouver shipyards and part time barrel racer.

I’m thankful to be on the Special FX performance product team as Courtney is super knowledgeable in all her products and brings in everything you could need for your performances horses on the road and at the farm.

Malena Muench

My name is Malena Muench, I am 27 years old from Langley, BC. I had the pleasure of being Courtney (and Miss Callie’s) rodeo partner for the 2022 BCRA season. I feel truly blessed to have Courtney and Special FX in my life and I know my mare feels the same way. Travelling with Courtney I was able to test all the products and I have to say it’s extremely tough to pick just one thing I love because I love it all. But I have to say I can’t live without the detox & Nutrack bundle, the changes it has made in my very picky high maintenance mare is incredible. I also love the convenience and smell of the DIO ice bath, if you haven’t smelt it yet it’s to die for.

Needless to say I am extremely excited to be going into the 2023 rodeo season with Special FX and Courtney in my corner.

Kineta Brown

My name is Kineta Brown, I’m a 32 year old mother of two. Barrel racing and horses are my passion. One of the most important things to my barrel racing is my horses feeling their best! I’m grateful to be apart of the Special FX team, from the quality products, to the knowledge and the physical work being done on my horses I feel confident my horses are feeling their best! 

Rika Antoine

My name is Rika Antoine I am a team roper and breakaway roper. I’ve got my A team and young up and comers that I rope on. I rope at World Series Team Ropings, Jackpots and Rodeos and have qualified for the Canadian finals breakaway ropings 4 times. I started going into the CPRA in breakaway roping last year and I will again this year. I’m a mom of two, rancher, business owner and veterinarian technician. I love Special FX because it’s a one stop shop and Courtney is great to deal with. She is also a distributor for our products from our company so working with her is always a pleasure, both from business point of view and customer point of view.

Gracie Rooke

I am Gracie Rooke and I am 11 years old. I love barrel racing and rodeos. I love Special FX because they have so many great products to help keep my horses feeling good. I love that they have so many cool things that help and also look good.

Lyla McKenzie

I'm from Savona, BC. I barrel race and rodeo at a semi-professional level. My husband Clint and I enjoy training our own horses together, as well as taking in a few client horses and offering some prospects and performance horses for sale each year.
My horses health and soundness is really important to me, and it truly takes a team to keep them feeling their best. With all that Special FX has to offer, our horses are going to have the extra support they need to be able to excel in their performance.  I'm excited & greatful to be on the team!!

Chloe Watt

My name is Chloe Watt and I am a 14-year-old barrel racer from Dewdney, BC. I’ve been riding since I was 4, but started to take barrel racing seriously 2 years ago. I purchased my main mare Cali last year and entered my rookie year in BC High School rodeo. While it wasn’t the best start, we have worked very hard and finished the provincials in the top 10, securing a place at the Canadian HighSchool Rodeo this summer. Not only does Special FX products keep Cali happy and in top performance condition, but Courtney has become such a role model and mentor to me, providing lessons, talking me through her products, and always willing to help out! 

Paislee McGladrey

Hi! My name is Paislee McGladrey and I am a 9 year old mini betty from Chilliwack BC! I followed in my mom’s footsteps and have been riding horses since I was 4 years old! But this is my first year learning how to barrel race! My goal this year is to be the Canadian Barrel Racing Association Season Leader for Pee wees in my rookie year! 


I am honoured to proudly represent Special Fx Performance as Courtney has already helped make sure Stella is feeling her absolute best by adjustments, supplements and magnetic therapies. She is a one stop shop of knowledge & the best products available!
